The new Convention's website was successfully launched today, 2 December 2019.
It entails a number of new features such as a country profile for each Contracting or Applicant State, with basic information on the country's control system for precious metals articles.
Information on the Convention's activities such as in the field of technical harmonisation and compliance is now publicly available. A new page on the benefits for joining the Convention or for applying the the Convention's Common Control Mark (CCM) has been created.
Information on the Convention's technical requirements can be found under "Requirements under the Convention".
The website is now a https secure site and is readable on a PC, a mobile phone, a notebook or any other compatible device.
A newsletter will be issued after each Standing Committee meeting in order to brief stakeholders and interested parties on the latest news regarding the Convention.
